I am a clinical psychologist offering therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults in Raleigh, NC and via telehealth across the state of North Carolina.
In treatment, I prioritize using evidence-based strategies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, while also considering a person's unique needs so I can tailor treatment specifically for them. I approach my work with both humor and compassion, with the hope that we can build a strong therapeutic alliance and plan treatment collaboratively. I work with concerns such as anxiety, OCD, depression, and stress. I partner with my patients to help them work toward the goals that will make the biggest impact in their lives.
If you are a parent looking for a therapist for your child, I would be happy to discuss how I can help. I know how hard it can be to see your child struggling, and how scary it can feel to put their care in someone else’s hands. As a parent myself, I take the responsibility of working with someone’s child very seriously. It truly takes a village to raise a child and I am honored when parents invite me into that village to support their family. I also provide consultation for parents having difficulty knowing how to support their child’s mental health, or for parents who want to learn specialized tools to help manage challenging behavior.
I received my PhD in clinical psychology from UNC-Greensboro and completed my clinical internship at the UNC School of Medicine where I received specialized training in pediatric psychology and treating patients with chronic medical illnesses.
I am currently accepting new patients who are interested in participating in therapy via telehealth. I may also have some limited availability for in-person appointments.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions that will help determine if my services are a good fit for you or your child. I look forward to meeting you!
